Eat this, STAT

I did this surgical cake last Friday for the Mending Kids “Cinco de Mending” party celebrating the 50th birthday of surgeon Dr. Phil Frykman and the half birthday of surgical missions director Isabelle Fox. The tools, monitor framing and image are all edible, other than the engraved knife and server for the birthday honorees. That’s chocolate mousse coming out of the IV and into the chocolate mousse filled chocolate, chocolate chip cake :-). Now, it’s time to operate!
